HomeProofLab was started with one goal: cut through marketing claims and tell people plainly whether a home product is actually worth buying. We focus on the categories people search the most — kitchen, cleaning, and air & climate — and compare the products everyone is already asking about.
We buy the products we review ourselves whenever possible and use them the way a real household would. We score each product on the criteria that matter most for its category — things like portability, noise, coverage, ease of use, and price-to-feature ratio — and compare it directly against its closest competitors.
We accept no payment from manufacturers in exchange for coverage or a higher score. Some of our links are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you buy through them — see our Disclosure page for details — but this never changes our verdicts.
